Jag råkade boka in oss på ett crackhouse tydligen. Sen berättade en av min pappas gäster att han hade bott på ett hotell i New York där en person hade blivit mördad en vecka senare. jag kollade upp lite reviews om vårt hotell och avbokade allt.

I want to tell every body about the experience i had there
1- place is full of bed bugs.you should see the bug bites on every one there
2- place is full with hookers , and all alegal activities
3- place is full with drug dealers
4- place is full with loan sharks , starts from the reception to
people who lives there .
5- very felthy place , [-] in the bath room floor , rats are every where, spiders bites , bed bugs , a place should be closed by the health department .
6- No Heats .....no hot water ....
7- this place is for homeless people , it is just one step away from a free shelter
8-NOT A SAVE PLACE AT ALL

"The Worst Hostel Ever!!!! Ever!”


Where to start? This is one of the worst experiences of my traveling life. I have stayed in a lot of hostels, as well as working in two for an extended amount of time. I have been an advocate for hostelling. I have heard the nightmare stories, but I thought people were just pampered or something. That is until I stayed here at the Glenwood Hostel which also doubles as an insane asylum for homeless men over 40. Do not believe the website!!! The website makes this place look like a normal hostel, it's not true, let me repeat, it's not true. I only stayed in the place for a little over an hour, but I still somehow feel tainted by its stench of alcohol, sweat and mold. Once we told the front desk clerk we were leaving and wanted our money back, he refused to give all of it back, we had booked two nights and only got the second night's money back. I would have paid more money to leave this place than I paid to stay. It was probably the worst place I have ever been in. Do not stay here!!!!!!"

"All of the reviews of this place are exactly true. I really wish my mother or I would have seen this website beforehand, then maybe we wouldn't have brought bedbugs back home with us. This place is absolutely disgusting. We stayed the first night upon arriving very late and not being too sure about the neighborhood. Put another way - we were afraid to leave and afraid to stay. What more can I say about the Glenwood Hostile......I mean Hostel. The rooms look like four pieces of plywood nailed together with a open ceiling, covered only by what appears to be a sheer curtain. Anyone could crawl in and visit your room through the night, which brings me to our lovely fellow guests. I was awakened by screaming through the night of some woman, "I'll cut you! I'll cut you! and also some guy coughing up a lung. The floor looked as if it had'nt ever been swept or mopped. The next morning, sure enough I found BUGS in my bed. My advice.....spend more money in a better hotel.........save yourself the time, money and phone call to the exterminators when you get home!!! This all sounds so extreme and I wish it were'nt true."
